For nearly 40 years, YW Calgary has been providing safety and support for women and children fleeing domestic violence at our Sheriff King Home crisis shelter. The ongoing pandemic coupled with the reality that Alberta continues to have one of the highest rates of domestic violence means the need for a solution has never been greater.

Whether it’s the size of a pizza or an entire plaza, you can choose the exact amount of space you'd wish to donate. The campaign exceeded their goal and managed to raise over $50 million for the new crisis shelter, giving space for women and children in unsafe situations.
